What are U using for hard brake lines and hard fuel line??

Hi guys,
I finally got my 80% finished cobra home and now I get to tackle the small finnicky stuff.
I have to terminate all electrical, run the brake and fuel lines and wonder what are you guys all using for the lines upto the point you go flexible.
Also have an engine to break in later....

Now I will be hitting the the forums for info a little more regularly.

Thanks

Tim

Steel is cheap and works well.
Steel on the brakes and steel on the fuel line up to engine compartment then braided 3/8" stainless w/ AN 6 fittings (the stainless is not so cheap but they work well) up to my fuel regulator and again out of the regulator to the carb.

Used stainless. Since its' so stiff, however, it is a bear to use. My wrists took weeks to recover from the bending and flaring!

It sure looks nice though!

I used stainless brake lines. Wade: I found the stainless tubing very soft and bendable, I think the steel is harder. Of course the double flare is a b_tch.

For fuel I used 1/2" aluminum line from Russell. I ran braided stainless from the tank to the chassis and into a 9" inline filter. From there it goes to the fuel pump via AN fittings. From the fuel pump to the forward part of the chassis (about 6') is the 1/2" alum hard line. From there I use #8 braided stainless to another filter, fuel pressure reg. From there the # 8 continues to the carb.
