KCC Cobra fuel level sending unit

By chance does anyone know what brand/model KCC Cobra used for the fuel level sending unit? Even with my fuel tank topped off, the gauge only reads empty 😥

thanks

What fuel gauge do you have?

Hi Rockbit
sorry I haven't been on here in a while.
I've just been driving the car as is, and keeping the tank topped off
here's a pic I took of the dash while taking some measurements

I don't know the exact brand of gauges.
I think they're SMITHS replicas KCC had provided with the kit
Oddly the Tach says "6 cylinder"

If you can, disconnect the signal wire at the sensor, near the tank. Using a jumper wire, connect the sender wire to ground. With the key on, the gauge should read full. If it does not, the gauge is not working.

If the gauge is good via the above test, the problem is likely that the sender in the tank is not grounded. I had the same problem with mine, and improving the ground for the sender fixed it.

Good luck.
