New Bellhousing
When installing a new steel bellhousing and on my 351 Cleveland, do I need to install a spacer or shim behind the flywheel to clear the new blockplate? In a test fit the flywheel seemed to be rubbing the blockplate. :confused:

What kind of a bellhousing and flywheel are you using? Are the thrust washers installed on the crankshaft?

Ford steel flywheel, and a Mcleod bellhousing. Aren't thrust washers used on on automatics? I'm using a TKO II.
