My simplest solution:
Add an arm on the throttle pedal (inside the footbox) pointing toward the driver, angling it down about 45 degrees. It should have a slot that will retain a cable end. On the top of the footbox (or maybe on the throttle pedal frame) put a receptacle and stop for the cable. The angle should match the arm on the pedal. Depending on how the guide is designed, it may be necessary for a cable end be installed after the cable passes through the footbox. With that setup, all you need is simple cable from the pedal to the throttle body. |

That is a bell crank, it changes the motion it is similar to the bell crank in the middle of your manifold. If you are set on having a cable actuation you need to come up with something at the pedal assembly that accepts the cable end. |

Take some time to study the Lokar throttle linkage website for instructions and ideas. Particularly, look at the Lokar Borla linkage instructions to see the cable to pulley/capstan assembly pictures. I believe pulley systems are very sensitive to the angle the cable approaches the pulley and the alignment/stability of the cable as it approaches the pulley also. Again, look at the Lokar Borla cable instructions. Cheers Greg |
