17" Triglo Pin Drive Wheels
Do Triglo make a 17" version of there Halibrand Pin drive wheels.
I checked there website and only seems to be the 15" , but i have seen pictures of a few SPF cars with 17`s fitted. thanks |
yes they do. I know a couple who have them on their spf cars. Also PS Engineering makes them.

Are these new from Trigo? I'm pretty sure all the 17's on SPFs are from PS Engineering. Last spring I called Trigo about making 17's for my SPF and they weren't planning on anything in the near future. PSE makes 17's to bolt directly on Trigo hub adapters, so that may be what you are seeing. PSE also can make 15 inch wheels that work with Trigo or other adapters, or even bolt on. If Trigo is now into 17's, that would be pretty cool, as competition might be good for price and quality.

Wheel Availability
Trigo was (over a year ago) in the final stage of bringing to market their own 15" FIA style wheel. Does anyone know if they have been released yet? I believe that currently PS Engineering has the market cornered on these.

I am not aware of Trigo making 17 inchers. Here's a picture of PS
Engineering wheels:) |
I'll try one last time
Sorry! For some reason the jpeg image will not load |
In the U.K., Image makes a nice looking Halibrand style wheel in virtually any diameter, width, bolt pattern, and backspacing you want. Was almost going to get a set when Team III came out with their 17"ers. Check europaspares.com or cobraspares.com

Hi Bob,
What widths are those rims and what size tyres? I like the look of the 17s and plan to run them on my car. Cheers |
Mike,
In the front are 275-40-17s on 9.5" wide rims, 335-35-17s on 11.5" rims on the rear. Very tight, but no rubbing on our later cars. |
I can attest to the quality and fit of the PSE 17" wheels. I bought a set for my Shell Valley, and they are great. They use the Trigo adapters, which are excellent. One caveat, though: be sure to get the pin alignment tool for initial installation, or they will be a bi**h to install.

I think SPF manufactures their own wheels, that my include a 17". Dominik |
