Garage Mahal update
It has been about two months exactly since I posted pics of the new Snakepit that is under construction. We are targeting "occupancy" (I use that term loosely since the inhabitants will be of the two and four wheeled variety) to be end of March. Still to be done is: Stucco, drywall, upstairs flooring, cabinetry, garage door/motor installation, utility tie-in, etc. Also need to finish garage floor, and put it two post Autolifter lift in left most bay (pics below). I plumbed the garage for air using galvanized piping and allows for four quick disconnect outlets at convenient spots. Also pre-wired downstairs for in wall speakers.
Attached is pic of the left bay. I will be using Raynor doors, commercial grade track and operners. Door for left bay will go straight up wall using jack screw opener. Doors have highest R-Value I could find (R10.4)--better than Klopay. Turns out a racing buddy of mine is in the business and gave me a heck of a deal on the door package. |
