Tiger Toploader
Just picked up a cheap toploader from a Sunbeam Tiger.
What is the difference between these types and a toploader from a cobra or a mustang. Would the Tiger version be OK to be used with a stroker 351/408 motor?

Tiger toploaders are narrow case for 5 bolt motors and won't bolt to 6 bolt bellhousing unless it is aftermarket multipattern scattershield. As far as strength a toploader is tuff. The Tiger should be a wide ratio which makes for great street racing.

The Tiger, I believe, had a 25 1/2 inch/28 spline Toploader available only in close ratio form. The correct ID tag was HEH-E
