Dyno Results for 351C w/2V heads

Ran the engine on the dyno last week to primarily set up the fuel maps for the EFI. It has a pretty flat torque curve with 380+ ft-lb from 3500 to 5600 rpm, with a peak of 410 ft-lb at 5000 rpm.
HP was 257 at 3500 and peaked at 410 HP at 5500.

Dave,

I enjoyed your post. I have a carbureted Windsor block with 2V heads and am just putting the engine back together. I was looking at a similar cam, -561 vs. -551 except for the Windsor block. I finally decided to go with a Ford cam because the Crane was too much money, $250 for the cam, ~$350 for the lifters and amazingly enough ~$350 for the springs and retainers. I just didn't want to spend $1000 for a cam setup. The Ford A351 cam looks similar although the torque curve is not quite a flat on my Dyno 2000 and of course it's a hydralic cam rather than a roller.

It is also interesting that the dyno results matched your computer pretty well. My Dyno 2000 gave 457 hp @ 5500 and 478 lb-ft @ 4500 for the -561 cam with my setup. Looks that might be pretty close based on your experience.

Where is Clearville, PA?

South central.
Closest towns of any size are Beford and Everett at about 30 miles, and Altoona and Johnstown at 60 miles.
