Master cylinder help
Hi all,
I'm building a FFR roadster using a stock '93 mustang pedal box. I have SN95 13" cobra dual piston calipers in the front and stock Thunderbird SC calipers in the rear. There are builders out there that use 7/8" bore master cylinder from an '84 4cyl. mustang, I believe they are using single piston calipers in the front. Will this work for me? or should I do something different? Any suggestions? Do I have to modify the pedal box and pedal? Thanks, Ron |
It will work, but you will have to run an adjustable proportioning valve because the 84 Mustang had rear drums. The bolt spacing on FoMoCo master cylinders are all the same, so they will bolt right up.
