What type of radiator?
I'm in the market for a really good aluminum radiator. I want a fairly small one that is efficient. I've heard good things on the Griffin Radiators with 1.25" cores.
Any other suggestions, custom or "off the rack"? Cost and contact info would be appreciated.:3DSMILE:

renman, I've used about 50 of the Griffin radiators over the years and they work real well. I've had some on the road for 8 years with no problems. I normally buy off the shelf for what I need from Summit or Jegs. The 1" row radiator runs about $170, the 1.25 runs a little more. If you need to have one custom made it will run you into the $400 range. One of the main problems I have found in cooling these cars is the electric fan. I had several checked from Scott's, Permacool, and several others to measure the actual flow. Almost all were about 1/2 of what they stated for CFM. I now use the Spal fans exclusively, they put out about 90% of the stated cfm. I have yet to build a car with the Griffin and Spal that runs hot. The Spal fans draw a lot of power so I wire in a 30 amp relay for the circuit. Hope the info helps.

Renman; Griffin from Summit. Remember the water fill neck on top will probably need to be capped and overflow plugged. Typically your manifold will be higher than the radiator fill neck. You can have it cut off and covered or you can special order one with no fill neck. Give Double Venom a call. He orders his with no fill neck and probably will sell you, quicker than waiting for a special order.
