Running a lower hose on a slanted radiator

I think my OEM radiator isn't cutting the mustard on my 289 HiPo. First, I have a ~23"x19" tall OEM that sits on a slant (you can view my online pics). What size should I get? I can't seem to find a Griffen or whatever with those dimentions with 1.25" cores. Secondly, how do you route the lower hose? Mine is currently "under" the front cross-member and less than 3: from the ground. I have a Mustang II front end.

Second, I think my pulley's are an issue as well? Perhaps my March Underdrive Pully is causing excessive heat? Any suggestions here?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dave;

For street use I would make sure my crank pulley and water pump pulley or at least the same size (diameter),that could cause some of your problems. I had the same overheating with my car in parades and that solved the problem... Also,open the radiator cap and look at the flow idling.With underdrive pulleys,water would just barely trickle out the flues,with stock type pulleys,water would shoot out at least an inch or more at idle.......I'm running a Griffin 26x19 I think....Hope this helps.....

David
