Weber ida linkage
I have a blue thunder intake with four 48 idas on a 289 in a '66 shelby gt350. This intake mounts the carbs face to face, that is, with all fuel outlets on the outside. This, of course ,requires a central bellcrank type linkage and is driving me crazy. I can't put anything together that works well without bending throttle rods or doing something that I just don't feel is kosher.
Can anyone send me a photo of a proper linkage set up for this system, or recommend a manufacturer that can help? It is getting warm out and I REALLY want to drive my car. Thanks for your time and consideration, Tim Black tblackgt350@mindspring.com |
Call Dan at Inglese. He can make a linkage set up for you. They built one for me that had a manifold that utilized the outside lines.

Here's a GT with IDFs. A nicely balanced linkage.

48 ida weber linkage
To Calmetal;
Does your intake have any provision for mounting a central bellcrank? The intake has no boss or standard for mounting anything in the space between the carbs. Thanks tblackgt350 |
