C4 Kickdown lever problem EMERGENCY!!

I need help. I was putting in a new shifter and had to put a new lever arm on. The nut that holds the Kickdown lever and the shifter arm was seized up.... I broke it loose, but not before the whole assembly turned through. ??? Anybody know what I broke, or a way to fix it?? I pulled the Trans Pan, and short of gutting the case... I don't see how to find the problem. There were no broken parts in the pan,... but the car will not lock into any gear,... All I have is PARK. Anybody know what I messed up?
Suggestions??? Thanks.

Well, I have found the problem. After draining and draining And DRAINING AND DRAINING the fluid. I pulled the valve body and there lies the trouble...
The lever-arm that sticks off the kickdown rod inside the trans was snapped off. So, looking for that piece now.
One thing after another.
On the positive side,.. The Lokar Transmount Shifter looks AWESOME!!
Have a COBRA day!
