brake line size? is bigger better, or is that just what she say's?

anyone out there use the larger brake lines other than the standard 3/16's steel?

if so, can you tell a difference in stopping power? or any difference at all.

i was considering rerunning and cleaning up my lines and thought i had read something in the past about this but could not find the article i thought i saw. seems like i read the parts were hard to find but was worth the effort.

any comments from the experienced?

thanks

There's no good reason to use larger than a 3/16" line for the brakes. Fluid volume is very small.
In fact, the pressure rating rating decreases as the line gets larger. The clutch however, should use a larger size so that on release, there's less restriction to flow.
