Help..AN4 adapter for Tilton cylinders

I can't find the catalog or article that showed this part.

It was a billet adapter that replaced the plastic adapter on the Tilton master cylinders for the remote mount reservoir.

I am using the Girling reservoirs from Cobra Restorers and want to run a #4 s/s braided line between the cylinder and reservoir.

Anybody else seen this part ???

Cheer,
Bill Cook

I've never seen one, and I'd have my doubts about how reliable the O-ring seal would be. How about running a -5 or -6 (I forget which) off the nipple, with a clamp? Earls makes a fake nipple with the clamp semi-hidden inside.

I have seen something similar, but the owner had just cut the nipple off the Tilton head, and installed a bulkhead fitting thru the plastic cap and added ring sealant. He said there were no problems, and that the seal was airtight after he installed the hot seal. Shouldn't be a problem, as the top of the master cylinder doesn't get put under pressure.

Bill, I have the same 4AN fitting on the remotes and want to install flex lines between the remotes and master cylinders. Please post your results (with pics). Thanks
