Fan Shroud
I'm looking for a fan shroud that will fit a griffen radiator. I have the radiator mounted vertically to increase air flow and I'd like to shroud the the 16" SPAL fan to ensure all parts of the radiator are drawing air at idle.
Any suggestions? |

The best results for cooling I`ve seen were a result of boxing in the nose to give the in-coming air only one place to go - through the radiator. Use sheet metal or aluminum to make a shroud on the nose side. Use poster board as a template. |

If you decide to make a shroud, I have found works well is about 20 gauge aluminum the crinkled type like in the middle of old screen doors because it doesn't show my manufacturing mistakes (found mine in a metal recyclers yard) bend with 2 2X4 also have used simi hard plastic found in the local craft shop and form it with a high temp heat gun.Good luck Ken |
