Punched out a couple gaskets using that graphite sheet i spoke of earlier. I say they are marginal.

Looking more and more like I will be using the goop method.

Guys can you give me the best application technique for applying the ultra copper RTV.... looking for at least 15K here as well :)

Nice thing about goop is that it will be good if the mating surface is less than machine finish flush.

Is it applied to both surfaces or just one??

My flange is 5 inches square the 4 primary holes are 2" nominal.
I have 8 - 3/8" bolt holes fastening the header flange to the sidepipe flange on 2 inch centres. The mating surface between exhaust primary holes is sometimes as little as 1/8" to a max of 1/4".
I guess as long as the outside periphery of the 4 holes is sealed well, I won't be hearing any exhaust leaks.
There is lots of meat to seal with there.

Lastly on fasteners, can I use SS here? I will be using lockwashers
