Hand Lever/ Parking Brake
Have a Contemporary Cobra w/Jag rear end. Parking brake does not fully engage because cable is too long. In fact, I added length to the outer cable cover. All the adjustment is out of the adjuster. The Jag hand lever does not have enough ratchet movement to take up the slack. Does anyone know of a hand lever that would have more ratchet movement?

Hi this may be a dumb question but are your cables pre-cut to only length?
Some auto parts cables can be custom cut at the other end. I think the Gennie and lokar cable are cut after installation as well. Taking out the slack at the cable is a much better way to go ...if you can do it? Tim |
