What gap for plugs and an oil question
Hi all
George A. has suggested I run Accel 416 plugs in my 428 I am using the MSD 6 AL full electronic setup. I have heard 40 thousand and upwards. Thanks I would have done a search but thought this may be more specific to my plugs I am using and the ignition system Tim |
AFR recommended I run Champion RC9YC at 50. Works fine.

Oil question as well
Thanks guys looking like a 50 gap is more common.
Tim.. PS Presently researching the threads for a good engine oil recommendation on break in 1) Looking like a 10-40 or a 15-40 multi weight oil ( non synthetic) 2) When do I change the oil after flash -up.... Right after cam break in or give it some time?? I will use half a can of GM EOS in the mix for first break in as well. I seem to remember hearing an oil and filter change is almost immediate.
