Alternative transmision

I have a ram cobra with a 350 Chevy motor approx 350hp, a TH400 transmission and a jaguar rear. On the autobahn (Germany) I travel at 140 kph at 4000 rpms. I would like to know if there is a transmission which has the same outer dimension but lets me run at this speed at lower revs that I can replace without any major changes to my car?
Thanks for any help here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Wayne Put a 700R4 in the car with lock up convertor and overdrive. The case is the same size but is longer You will need to shorten your drive shaft. Check out some of the builders They can better help you Rick Lake

Hello Wayne Rick is correct the 700R4 is the best way to go has a .67 over to the Th400 1.00 should be a easy swap cut a 2+- " off the the drive line find a yoke and kick down linkage for the carb and move the trans mount. Only thing do the research on who you get the 700R4 from tell them what you want and expect.Have fun:)
