David Kirkham might sell hoods, and I know Carl Athmer, (207) 990-2070) does.

ally hood

Bill,
A KMC hood will definitely not fit a Midstates, not the same size or curved right on the front edge.
Now for the trick question , fit the hood to the body or the body to the hood?
Send a pattern of your Midstates to Kimmon in Nevada or Chuck at Cobra Restorers, and belly up to the bar...$$$$$$$$ or the vault I should say.

Hood

My Contemporary has am aluminum hood which I was told
cost $3000. I'm thinking Cobra Restorers out of Georgia Built.

Do you need the whole hood and scoop to be alum, or just an inserted panel on the underside of your current hood to give it the aluminum look with the hood open? Choice 2 is much cheaper and easier.

Mrfixit,
I was looking for the tube frame and aluminum hood.
