Take another look and do not use one of the bleeder lines. I have never heard of this. I have friends with dynalites and they have a line going into the back end of the caliper like the photo I posted. Roscoe |

Well, it is very interesting what one finds when one looks closely. Bob and Roscoe were correct, there is an inlet in the center of the back part or the caliper, just as in Roscoe's picture. The reason I said "look closely" is that the billet calipers are black and Wilwood put a round black vinyl sticker over the inlet opening. I had never bothered to look at that sticker until you guys told me where the opening should be. With the inlet on one side, it is obvious that the caliper mst have an internal crossover. Very sorry about the stupid question. %/ %/ %/ I have to assume from the original responses to my questions that all of the "for racing only" stuff on the boxes and the installation instructions is strickly for legal purposes. The pads supplied should be OK for the street, at least to start with. Many thanks guys, Wayne |

All the willwood's I havs seen had an external crossover tube that connects both halves of the caliper near the lower bleeder screws.

Will do, thanks again. Mr. Fixit If you have a Wilwood catalog, look at the pictures of the 3 variations of the Dynalite caliper. The regular Dynalite II caliper has an external crossover pipe, but neither the billet nor the polished versions have one. As I said earlier, they must have designed an internal crossover for the billet caliper. Wayne |
Yep, I just checked the catalog...
The dynalite billet calipers do have an internal crossover tube. Stated quite clearly on their website. Dynalite 2's have the external crossover tube which goes into the same holes in the casting as the bleeder screws (the 2 that would be pointing down) |
