Looking for Fuel Filler hose
I am trying to find some hose to go between My Fuel Filler Adapter and my tank. The Adapter comes down at about a 45 degree angle toward the tank neck on my Everett Morrison. The Outside Diameter is about 2 1/8" . The Tank is a 67-69 GM Camaro Tank with the stock neck that comes straight out toward the rear wheel at a 45 degree angle. The Outside Diameter is 2 1/4". I would like to use a flex hose of some sort sinceI doubt If I'll find any molded hose that fits exactly right.
Any suggestions???? Thanks RZ |
Fuel hose
You can try Napa Auto Parts. Another outlet to check is an industrial hose supplier, one that makes hydraulic hoses. Check the yellow pages. One last source is anyone that makes race car chassis's. Be sure whatever you choose is fuel rated. If you have different sizes between neck and tank consider a small piece of tubing expanded on one end (muffler shop).

Ronzara, I went to the local muffler shop
and had them bend two pieces of 2 inch at 90 degrees, I lined them up and cut to fit, welded, painted and attached each end with short hyd. hose. looks good. |
I used Marine fuel filler hose. Got it at local Boating shop.
Also I saw it in Chassis Shop Catalog http://www.chassisshop.com Roscoe |
