Anyone wire painless Charging Shutdown Relay?

I currently have my battery cutoff switch mounted inline with the negative battery cable. I have had several people indicate that alternator feedback might keep the electronic ignition running. I have ordered the Painless shutdown relay, and should get it today, but I want to know if I need to switch the cutoff to the positive terminal.

Thanks,
Tom

The battery disconnects with only two wire lugs usually won't kill the motor. The disconnects with four lugs and a diode will.
