need Lone Star hood latch advice

Guys,
My friend is building a Lone Star Cobra. He is at the point of positioning the hood latches. He has 2 sizes of cam wedges to work with. Lone Star has not been much help in the advice dept. Any advice/ trade secrets would be great. It would also be helpful if you can post pictures of where the cam wedge best fits into it's slot.
Thanks,
Steven:)

I first had the funky hood pins that centered in the the small indentation in the web area under the hood. I used the same holes for the hood pins for the latches and cut out a pattern slightly bigger than the cam wedge so that the wedge would fall down through the hole and turn to secure.
