Weber intake for 351W
I purchased an intake from Enzo a while back that was one of 5 from a run of Blue Thunder manifolds. I tried putting it on my engine a number of times and was not able to get a good seal with the heads. It seems as though I keep getting an oil leak on the underside from the lifter gallery. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or special tricks they had to use with one of these manifolds or might it be my heads. I have World Products cast iron heads.
I tried using Ultra Black RTV on both sides of the gasket one time and still had no luck. I also put a straight edge on the gasket surfaces and everything seems to be perfect.
Thanks, Jerry

Are you using the stock end seals on the intake? They can keep the manifold from sitting low enough to seal well at the intake ports.

I never use the end gaskets. I always use Ultra Black RTV

Without intake gaskets, when you place the manifold on the motor, how well does it sit? Are the gasket surfaces parallel or perhaps slightly skewed. How well do the intake gaskets match up to the intake and the heads separately? You may need gaskets with different port sizes. If your heads have been angle milled too much you may have problems.
