Mike,
Jump into the yellow pages under steel There are a ton of suppliers in your area. I know because I used to live in Everett. The best bet is a company like American Steel, but while you're looking, watch for the ads that specifically talk about stainless....and pipe or tubing. If you don't strike paydirt with the first call, just ask the one you called. Likely they will steer you in the right direction. A company that specializes in copper and brass can also be a candidate as well as an ordinary pipe supplier. Even a really good old fashioned hardware store could be a candidate. We have one here that keeps a lot of stainless on hand. Al |

The biggest problem you are going to have is the fact that you want a really small piece. Most companies will want to sell you a minimum amount which is far more than you require, like a 10 foot length. There is a company here in the Montreal area that specializes in SS, brass, aluminium, etc. in small quantities. They buy up left overs from big companies then resell it to folks like you and me. The outfit here is called the Metal Supermarket. Check your yellow pages and ask who sells stainless in small quantities. Good luck, Wayne |
