2x4 holly i.d.,i have #'s help!!
well you guys convinced me its time to rebuild, what with gas all over the place and everything. its a stock setup from 1965 but i seem to have a few too many numbers,im hoping someone recocnizes a couple. so here goes.....onthe back of the main throttle bodies:C3AE 9510-C just under that LIST 2652-1
in faint ink: 2652 any guesses ... thanks , Karl |
2652-1 is a 4160 Holley Number 1963/64 Ford & Mercury 2-4 Bbl Installed on 406's and 427's.
Regards, george If you need complete illustrated parts (Typical views)and spec sheets I could scan my information an email it to you. (Ref Page 28 Holley Manual for all Holley Carburetor Model Part No. 36-51-7 Weatherly Index 600, copyright 1989 Colt Industries-was Holley Replacement Parts Division) |
thanks george, what does 2652-1 mean? i couldnt find it anywhere on the holley websight.is this # specific to my rebuilds?
If these are 4160 carbs does that mean they are 660 cfm's? isnt 1320 cfm's a lot for a stock 427? |
2652-1 is just a listing "LIST" number for the specific characteristics of this 4160 style Carb. If you look for R-2652-1 or 1A you may find current parts available for this Carb. The book mentioned above describes the components, rebuild kits, jet sizes etc. for this specific List Number from Holley. This number may not be listed currently in the service numbers in the Holley Catalog....but the internal parts are still avavilable and would be similar to other 4160's which is the style that will fit the Ford 2X4 manifolds....I didn't look close enough at the description to notice the CFM...but probably 550...but that's just a guess as I didn't really look into the number more than just the description I mentioned above.
