J, You need to check in a new GCR (SCCA Rules book) but best I can remember , the red handled master kill switches should be located on both sides of a car as large as a Cobra. So emergency workers may access, with going inside the vehicle. It may be located inside the cockpit but only if very close to the outside of a car. The easiest way would be to mount on the fender near the windshield post on both sides, also many times the switches are also located on the rear of a car. Check the GCR, are you planning on doing some SCCA events, there are numerous other safety issues that also must be added. Later, db

That sounds trick .Get too close to anything car coast to a stop.I was just getting ready for the switch middle of dash.I had planed on the new Flaming River switch in the middle.Twist to connect push ( a slap works)in to dissconnect. Can't reach behind while belted in.Cant reach anything, belts keep me right there in seat facing forward.
Are you talking multiple switches or a central switch w/ push pull rods and handles to each side.Is there a picture of this new setup?

You can certainly have all the switches wired in series so any one of the switches would kill all power, I thought you were asking about SCCA reg. That is what I was using as a reference. You certainly would need to have a kill switch within your reach, the others that I was talking about are for safety worker too use in an emergency.
