Tri Alert Install
I just installed the Auto Meter Tri-Alert warning system in the car yesterday. Aside from having to pull the steering column and dash, it went in like a breeze and works perfectly. Big red light on the dash hooked in to all three gauges. Water and oil set at 220 deg and the oil pressure at 30 pounds.

Glad to hear it's easy to hook up. Mine's still in the box - waiting for me to install the dash.

Pete,
With pulling the steering and dash out it took me a few easy hours of working on it. No big deal to install. It was really a piece of cake. Just follow the directions and remember before you calibrate each gauge you have to disconnect the sender and leave the tri-alert lead on the gauge. It's also good to have someone around so you don't have to keep walking around to look at the gauge reading while you are calibrating it. I mounted mine on the firewall for easy access. Roscoe |
Roscoe,
Seems like you are getting ready for some serious track time. See you at the Glen, Cranky:3DSMILE: |
Hope to spend some more time with fellow Club Cranky members this year. Also don't want to belong to the Club Cranky blown engine club.
