Tubbing my 66

I am putting a 347 stroker in my JCF slabside. Because of the narrow body width, especially in the rear I have been running the largest tires I can get to fit-but the results are totally inadequate. (Pirelli P-4000 215x60r 15s) The tires will spin without hardly any effort and traction is a big problem. With the new engine the problem will get much worse. Because of the way the frame almost touches the leading edge of the rear tires I am trying to find a way to move the frame sides in towards the thirdmember. This will let me put some pretty wide tires on the rear. I guess it would be a good idea to go with inboard brakes for space saving reasons.

Has anyone tubbed their Cobra. What were some of the unexpected problems.

My new muffler system looks like it must be moved and new rear body mounts will have to be fabricated. Gas and brake lines will have to be redone. Other than that, and the fact I'm off my meds, there doens't appear to be any problem that $$$ won't cure. Right?
