427 Holley w/old style fuel bowls
Anyone know of a source for new or rebuilt Holleys with the old style center pivot floats? I think they're called "cathedral style" or something like that. They're shaped differently than the current Holley style center pivot float bowls.
I bought a new Holley 715 cfm carb 5 years ago from Holley for my 66 GT350, but can't seem to find a similar carb now. Any ideas?

Doug ,
Try "Carls ford parts" he has some old stuff and some Holley reproduction carbs. I think Jack at "Jacks ford parts "also may have old parts.

Doug....The carbs you seek are Holley 780's with vacuum secondaries and Lemans Float Bowls. They come up on e-bay from time to time but over the last few months the same person was buying them all. I don't remember his screen name but I figured he was trying to corner the market. The Ford number is a C5AF9510-BE for 1965 and BV I think for 66. The cores usually sell for around $350 and ones that have been completely gone through they want a fortune for. Holley made the Lemans Bowls which would fit any Holley under part number 34-14 but I have not had any luck finding them either. One source you might try is Mike Ulrey @ 727-772-5834. He had some for sale last year in Tulsa at Mid America. If you locate any good info please e-mail me as I would like one also some day. I wish they would release them again as they did the 715CFM one years ago for the small block people.
Gary:)
