Ford Cobra R wheels on a Lone Star

Is anyone running Cobra R (17 x 9) wheels on a Lone Star car? I have a 5-lug 8.8 rear with drum brakes. Any clearance issues?

What offset are you using?

Thanks for the help.

Paul

No one has put Ford Cobra R wheels on a Lone Star?

Paul,
When I first got my Cobra and for several months I had those wheels.
No problems at all with them.

Look in my picture gallery and there are some shots with those wheels.

Give Lone Star Classics a call and they should beable to tell you the offsets.

Thanks for the reply. I have contacted Lone Star. They said "Use 1999 Cobra R Wheels." There is no such thing as a 1999 Cobra R wheel. When I measure the offsets on my 15 X 8 and 15 X 10 AC Team III wheels, they are no where near the available offsets in the Cobra R wheels, regardless of year.

Did you have the same size (and offset) on all four corners? Did you have 17"x9"? What size tire/wheel are you running now?
Thank you for your help.

Paul
