76 mustang/lincoln motormounts???
Hey guys I,ve got a quick question. I pulled my engine to replace my rear main seal and all the leaking gaskets when I notice my motor mounts were almost gone. very oily and the driver side almost in two. I think I have a classic roadster but not sure. the ford number on the motor mount refered to a 76 mustang or lincoln. they are no longer being made(????). Does anyone know of a bolt in replacement from a differant vehicle. I can get originals but they are 120 a piece :CRY: . I also thought of just putting a bolt thru the motormount and making them semi solid.

Motor Mounts
Have you tried Kragens, they were able to souce an unusual set of mounts for my set up (part #2316), they have a bolt through them for safety. The company or catalogue is from Anchor, it has very clear illustrations and they should be able to help you. Take your sample and look at the pictures carefully. They look strange when viewed from different angles. Good source. Very good quality, assembly, vulcanizing, and rubber used also.
