Bilstein Racing Shocks

Just got my new re-valved Bilstein shocks and upgraded swaybar from the Olthoff's - very nice stuff. Can't wait to try them out. One thing I cannot figure out though - On the top of each shock there is a little valve that looks identical to the valvestem on a tire...Anyone know what this is for ? It looks like you could unscrew the cap and add air to it like you would a tire...Is this a rebound adjustable valve ???

These are nitrogen charged and should not need to be touched.
Even checking the pressure releases enough gas to change the rate. If they need to be worked on they are purged then over filled and brought back to the pressure wanted. This is a dry gass system.
