428 FE where should my IDLE RPM be??
 
Hi
May be starting it tomorrow for break in. I know idle is not a concern during cam break in, but ideally what should my engine idle be?
*A roving 1500-2500 rpm for 30 minutes is the priority.

I have the complete Edelbrock RPM package (Cam and Heads)
The only variance was a Holley 850 mech double pumper.

Messing with my MSD timing curve now for start up and they mention that centrifugal advance should start just above the idle RPM. So where would that be in the ideal setting above or below 1000 on these things?

Looking at the advance curves that are in figure 2, Page 3 of the MSD billet instructions. I have to pick one of the lower two cuves shown on the right most column ( E or F )
