Brake fluid line , conpatability
I want to change my brake reservoir . The brown truck
just dropped off the girling's from FinishLine . Are there any braided line's "not" conpatible withbrake fluid ? What are the original (ERA) tubes made of ? |
Yes, there are probably lots of covered hoses not compatible... Brake fluid is a PITA when it comes to rubber compatibility. We use something called Superthane.
I would run hard lines from the reservoirs down to our rubber lines, which are 5/16" ID. http://www.erareplicas.com/427/brakeres.jpg |
