351 Alternator Location
I HAVE 351W CRATE MOTOR WITH EXPANSION THAT BOLTS INTO THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING[ PURCHASED FROM ENZO ] . I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO USE THE MARCH ALTERNATOR BRACKET BECAUSE IT MOUNTS THE ALTERNATOR TOO HIGH[ AT THE LEVEL OF THE VALVE COVER] AND THE EXPANSION TANK IS IN THE WAY...WHAT TYPE/BRAND OD ALTERNATOR BRACKET CAN I USE TO PUT THE ALTRNATOR LOWER[ NEARER THE LEVEL OF THE WATER PUMP]...I'M ALSO USING MARCH PULLEYS, V-BELT, NO POWER STEERING...THANKS

Did you ever find a bracket to relocate your alternator. I am running into the exact same problem, any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I had exactly the same problem. Several dealers offer a set of brackets for the 351W that will mount the alternator on the passenger side of the motor in a "Low" location with the alternator pully approximately level with the water pump pully. There is at least one such set offered on eBay made of polished stainless steel, another set offered in aluminum. Good Luck.

Get the Roush bracket. We don't stock yet but Jegs does.
