What did I do ?

What's the deal with the Holley 4150HP?
Why is it so difficult to get replacement parts and pieces correct for this carb?

Difficult to find anyone local with metering block gaskets.
Is there a difference with the power valves on that carb, verse a "typical" Holley?
The power valves that were in the HP had only two small openings, and the power valves that I was given by the engine builder had four openings. Are they compatible, or will the 4 hole ones not work in the HP version.

Dont worry about the holes ,they vary from one manufacturer to another , just make sure you get the right number and gasket for your particular PV.

A 4150 is a 4150. Just make sure your new gaskets look like the ones you took out.

PAW, JEGs

Call them and tell them the gasket you need.
