Line Lock
ANY ADVANTAGE TO HAVING A LINE LOCK ON A COBRA. IT SEEMS TO ME IT MAY NOT BE ADVANTAGES DUE TO THE WEIGHT OF THE CAR. PRO - CON??//

A line lock is used only so you can control the "roll out" during your big smokey burnout at the dragstrip which needs to be done to heat up the drag slicks. Street tires don't need or like a burnout to grip better, and they're illegal to do on the street anyway. But if you plan on putting on slicks and doing big smokey burnouts at the dragstrip, look into getting one.

Have one on mine, it is a nice conversation piece if nothing else. Have only used it twice. And even with it set the car will still want to crawl forward.

Something different
Mine has two functions.
1. it is a line lock controlled by the switch on the shifter. Stops the car from rolling forward as I try to impress those around me with smoke and mirrors. 2. Locks the front brakes if the car is not started correctly. Makes steeling the car harder. You may want to look into this. Trularin :3DSMILE: |
I have a line lock in lieu of an emergency brake. Works fine, and less clutter in the cockpit. Just be careful setting it on a very hot day - they sometimes refuse to release.
