460 stroker in a FFR?

Hello

Im getting ready to buy a 499 (460 stroker) & seeking words of wisdom from someone who has already put one in a FFR MKII chassis. Anyone out there?

Thanks!

Not exactly what your looking for

Have not put one in an FFR, but my words of wisdom are; "Make sure the tires are warm before launching!"

Might be a better question for ffcobra.com

I am sure there are several there.

There are a number of people who have put big block (385 series) motors in the MarkII. I'm in the process of building a 460 for mine.

The only real trick is to follow the recommended parts list (intake manifold, oil pan, bellhousing, etc.) for a pretty straightfoward install.

HTH,
Ryan
