One source for one-wire alternators is Powermaster Motorsports in Knoxville, TN. They make a 100 amp unit which produces 70 amps at idle and also make 140 and 200 amp units. www.powermastermotorsports.com

I put a one-wire conversion on my delco alternator back in 91, it still works like a champ. The conversion has been removed and reinstalled on a couple of alternators. I got mine form ENOS components, I don't even know if they are still in business, It is the size of a matchbook, shiny polished case, and plugs directly into the back of the alternator, leaving only the big red wire coming off the alternator.
