Everett-Morrison radiator

Since E-M isn't open for business yet, can any of you E-M owners tell what radiator you used? The manual I have says a Modine #738 is the one to use, but I'm told by the dealer I called that there is no such model number. I'd like an aluminum one but don't no what size to ask for.
I could like some advise on this from you guys, I have a 408 stroker for an engine.
Thanks,
Steve

My friend just bought a radiator for his EM....fits like a glove. I will get in touch with him at let you know what he bought.

You want to be sure that the radiator will fit YOUR E-M. I've got an older frame (1985 I think) with the Mustang II front end, and I've only got 23" between the rails. The later frames are not the same, and it may also depend on which front suspension you have. Measure before you order, don't trust their manual!

Good luck!
Jon

Thanks guys!
I really appreciate the help in this. I guess I should have finished the car before E-M went under or whatever has happened.

I'm running a 428 in my EM and use a 'Ron Davis' 2 core aluminum radiator (28" x 19"). This is the max width that I can run between the frame rails. Don't know what EM recommends but I believe it's in the 25-26" width range.

When I ordered my radiator from EM a couple of years ago, they sent me a Griffin...don't remember the number though, can measure the size if you're interested

Contact Fred Gimbel at Autovision 717-382-4312. He can supply any part for an Everett-Morrison. He was there dealer and now has second sourced all the parts necessay to build one from scratch.

Griffin was making the radiators to EM specifications. You should be able to contact Griffin and get a radiator from them. The next question will be, Do you have the radiator mounting hardware?

I have a Griffin now, but the original unit that EM spec'd in the car was one from a 1967 Skylark w/ a big block (403??). I had no trouble but wanted a little bit more heat transfer, so went aluminum. If you are going to try the older style radiator, I would ask the radiator company for the dimensions and make sure that it will fit FIRST, as the frames have changed over the years. If you don't have the radiator mounting hardware, post here and I will measure mine and get you some dimensions so you can make one. It is pretty basic, so you should not have too much trouble.

Brackets

I managed to get a part number and order it from Summit Racing, but I don't have mounting brackets. I may try calling Fred Gimbel and see if he can hook me up or I'm going to have to make them myself.
