Electric Fan on Contemporary

Can any send me the wiring schematic (I have the build manual and it is not in it)?

The fan starting smoking about 2 weeks ago. I believe it was a Derale. It appears to be the same one I just got from Summit. However, hooking up the two wires of the fan to the existing wires did not do anything. New fan will not spin. Strange thing is that if I put a meter on the ground side between the fan and ground, I read 12v.

Is there a fuse somewhere? Does the new fan require a different hookup then the original? If I put 12v directly to the fan, it spins.

What’s up?

Cobra man,

I have a schematic but i'm not sure how to get it to you . wiring your fan is pretty simple stuff, are you using a temperature sensor ? if so your fan may not operate unless you are up to the "cut in " temp. do you have a dash mounted over ride switch?
