I am building a B and B cobra, on the drivers side of the Fire Wall, there is a 45 degree cut near the lower outter body, anyone have a clue why this is here, (other than to make filling it dificult :3DSMILE: )

Walter,

I assume Bryan had your cockpit installed when you picked up your kit? I don't recall one on my kit but could it be the slot for your windshield post go through?

Have you put your body on and checked to see if it had anything to do with a mounting point?

The red-orange line repersents the body, the black is the firewall, the lower left opening is my area of Question...

On the inside of your body there is the fiberglass mounting plate that mounts the body to the frame. That mounting plate tucks in under the notch on the bottom of the footbox. When you take off or install the body, look down there and you'll see why the notch is there.
