fuel pressure regulator

1991 mustang 5.0 I just bought a new mallory regulator(fuel) adjustable from 30 to 100. I got the return line hooked up, and I got both of the inlet and outlet ports hooked up as well as my fuel guage hooked up. My question is if I disconnect the vacum line to my stock fuel pressure regulator will it allow my new mallory regulator to flow freely as it is adjusted to my needs( meaning anything from 30 to 100) or do I have to take the hole thing off and plug the opening up. And if I do has any one done this befor and how do I go about doing it

BigBoothe Why would you want 2 regulators on the same system? Are you running a blower,Turbos, NOS? 1 properly setup regulator will be fine. Put high flow fuel rails on it and go with the Mallory I set my set for 55 psi with 45 vacuum at idle. I amnot sure on 5.0 motors. Rick Lake

I dont want 2 regulators on it, my stock regulator is not adjustable so i want to ether disable the stock one or take it off which ever is easiest and yes I' am running a blower on it.

plain and simple, how do I go about taking the old stock regulator off and plug the opening up?
