Mech Oil Temp Line
I have rjust eceived my new oil pan that is equiped with a 1/2" bung for a temp sensor. My oil temp gauge was never connected because the current pan did not have a temp bung. The gauge is installed in the dash and the temp sensor line is coiled behind it. The line seems to be fairly rigid. What is the easiest way to bend the line thru the firewall and down to the pan bung position? Will this line break easily? Any tips are appreciated.

The tubing is not that delicate. It can be bent easily - just not too tight. Once the fitting is in the pan, support the tubing along its length so that it can't vibrate. Leave a small loop between the engine and firewall to allow for engine movement.
