NAF Cobra Wiring short

I have an NAF built in 91 that is resurrecting Lucas, oh god of darkness, in my Ford wiring. I did not build the kit, so bear with me: I was working on the tilt column (a portion of it is cracked and I am waiting on it's replacement), and is from a 77-82 Mustang) and the signal apparently shorted out or malfunctioned. Now, no taillights, but the brake lights work, turn signal just turns on, no blinking (same with the hazard lights). No high beams, no dash lights. Runs fine. Headlights work. Any suggestions? I checked all the electrical fittings on the column, relubed with the dielectric grease to insure contact. Only found two fuses, a 20 amp and a 5 amp buried inside the dash. No fusebox visible amid the spaghetti pile of wires. Any suggestions?

Most of these used a column from Mustang II 74-78. The fuse panel should definately have more than 2 fuses to protect the various circuits. On the NAF's I have seen including mine the fuse panel was behind the area where the glove box would be. The wires for the rear normally drop down from the dash and are placed along the right side of the tunnel and exit it right in front of the differential. Then they go vertically behind the bulkhead into the upper floor in front of the fuel tank and then down the right hand side of the trunk area. Check for voltage at the lamp with the switch on and then check your grounds which are often in the right rear fender near the tail light. Sounds like a bad ground.

Sounds like you might've blown your blinker control relay and High Beam relay. you should definately have more circuits than 2. ?!?!?!!?
