Car vs. Truck 351W
Did the car engines and the truck engines (351W) come out with roller lifters the same year? What years for both?
Thanks, auto10x Bill |
The 351W didn't have roller lifters until 1994. Ford stopped putting 351Ws in car in the late 60s-early 70s. So, a 1994 and up truck block is the only way to get a 351W roller block.
BTW - it's not hard to convert an earlier block to a roller cam. You can either get 302 roller lifters, a spider kit, and a small base circle cam, or you can get lock-bar lifters and a 302HO roller cam. Pete |
Thanks Pete.
