Adjusting Suspension

Hi, I recently purchased a big block Cobra. I am satisfied with it but, the suspension is not functioning properly. Whenever I go over a rise the car feels like it has all shocks dampening at different rates. It feels dangerous over 100 mph. I was told that I have AVO coilovers in front and, Alden Coilovers in the rear. The question is, can I adjust these shocks without taking them off the car? If I can, how? I have just ordered a Kwiklift so that I can get under the car and play. Any help would be appreciated. Pzazz
